Spring Adoption Specials

Open Wednesday - Sunday, noon - 8 pm

Closed Monday & Tuesday

Visit the Midland's most productive animal rescue operation.  PETS, Inc. places nearly 3,000 animals each year.  Our modest Adoption Center houses approximately 200 homeless animals at all times. The adoption programs are supported by our discount pet food and supply store within the Adoption Building.

Volunteers Always Needed

We always welcome volunteers who will work or play with the animals, but we also need help with community programs and administration tasks.

Can you provide a foster home?

Call us now if you are interested in fostering puppies or kittens. We don't have enough room for many of the nursing mommies and their litters that are coming to us desperate to avoid euthanasia at the pounds. Our ability to help them depends on the availabIlty of foster homes. PETS, Inc. will help you prepare for the little ones. We have loaner cages for kittens and can even help set up your yard for puppies. We will provide food and medical care. Learn more.

Cats & Kittens

Kittens Most of our kittens are being adopted before we can have them posted.  Call or contact us if you don't see a suitabe kitten on our web site.  We have over 50 kittens in our cattery and another 40 or more waiting to come in.

It Works!

The special efforts of the Safe Cat Coalition, The City of West Columbia and PETS, Inc. have been enormously successful in reducing the population of homeless cats in West Columbia.   We are excited about this opportunity to prove that managed colonies can be a workable approach.  With so much to be done, we need more help.  If you are able to volunteer or donate please contact us at
