Sasha has been adopted!
Sasha is 1 - 2 years old. She was rescued from a negligent owner but her rescuer is not able to keep her. She is now completely housetrained and walks well on a leash, which is a real treat for Sasha ... but she much prefers to run free. She doesn't just run, she's a power runner, digging in and employing every muscle to be the best at playing catch and tussling with sticks or rope toys. It's easy to see that the freedom of running is very special to Sasha. Car rides are a close second when it comes to special fun. When she's indoors she is a gentle cuddler and is happy to curl up with anyone who can sit still for a few minutes. Her foster mom lets her sleep on an arm chair ... and she appreciates that more than you might imagine. A dog that has had almost nothing always seems to appreciate the little comforts that we take for granted.
Sasha's foster mom tells us that she is a well-behaved dog that rarely barks and tries hard to please. She meets everyone with happy enthusiasm.
